On the 22 October Bloemfontein 158 held their annual wine auction at Monte Bello Estate in Bloemfontein. This year the project was put together with Hein Linde and Morne Lang at the wheel.

With our annual and famous “manne aand” cancelled due to Covid-19 regulations in March, the success of this year’s event could not be over stated. Many of next year’s success as a club was riding on this much needed income so we needed a home run. Even though we had some curve balls coming our way, Bloemfontein 158 stepped up to the plate in true 158 fashion.

Needless to say, the evening was a great success. We had a speaker from Diemersfontein lead our guests through an informative wine tasting and we also had the famous Shador from OFM join us for the evening. When it was all said and done, Bloemfontein 158 smashed it out the park with a profit of round about R 160 000.
