Welkom 40 did a R5 Project Saturday 2 April at Sylvania Spar in Welkom. This project helps us a lot with food
donations, which we package in food parcels. Anton Bornman from Kroonstad 42 came to visit to see how the
project is done and to start doing the same at Kroonstad. An “old” ARTSA president Danie van Rensburg also
assisted us. We managed to raise five trolleys full of groceries with an estimated value of R1500 per trolley.
Welkom 40 would like to thank Sylvania Spar and the community that donated. The food parcels will be
distributed to families in need in our community.
